Life on the Water

Orchard Lake is a 788-acre kettle lake. The lake allows for all-sports watercrafts and boating of all kinds. Orchard Lake is not private, but the large waterway allows for a private feel. In the center of the lake is Apple Island, also open to the public so you can go for a nice boat ride to the island to explore.

If you like to fish, expect to catch black crappie, northern pike, bluegill, rock bass, and yellow perch, among the most popular catches. Local and state fishing regulations apply.
